How to view PDF documents
Select document by single-clicking your chosen object from the contents panel
on the left. Please note...
A "
" Icon indicates
a PDF (Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format) document.
A "
" Icon indicates
an HTML (web page Hypertext Markup Language) document.
The following instructions are a rough guide to using the Adobe Acrobat Reader.
The toolbar icons shown below are from Acrobat version 5. These buttons may vary
slightly from one version to another.
If Acrobat opens as the main 'frame' in your browser, it will form its own toolbar,
looking similar to this...

- Note this is a different toolbar from your browser's own toolbar.
How
to find words within a PDF document
- Click the find button. Enter the word(s) you want to find in
the pop-up dialog. Hit OK.
How
to zoom in/out on a PDF document
- Use the zoom in/out buttons to make the document appear bigger/smaller
in the document window.
How
to print a PDF document
- Hit the print button. This will invoke your computer's standard
'print' dialog that you use in the usual way.
